Well, the neighborhood has been without sidewalks going on three weeks now. Every single interlocking paving brick has been removed and we've been left with sidewalks of dirt. I find this more humorous than inconvenient and thought I'd share pictures of the current state of the neighborhood. I hope they put in real concrete. Brick sidewalks do a number on high heels.
This is the most humorous stretch of dirt sidewalk.
When it rained on Saturday, they laid down that stuff you put under carpet.
The sidewalks weren't a mud pit after a whole day of rain,
so I guess it worked surprisingly well.
